30+ years of executive leadership and management experience in international Phase I-III drug development, drug discovery, preclinical development of oncology and medical therapeutics and related business/financial operations in US, China, Europe, Japan and other territories, with more than 400 issued US and international pharmaceutical patents inventor/co-inventor; 200+ scientific/medical publications.
Dr. Hausheer held CEO and CMO positions with several Biopharma companies, and was the Founder, Chairman and CEO of BioNumerik Pharmaceuticals for 24 years. He has also served as a business advisory board member to JP Morgan Chase, the Whittaker Institute at Johns Hopkins, and a Senior Scientist at National Cancer Institute. Early in his career he served on the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Experimental Therapeutics Study Section, the NCI Decision Network Panel, and the NCI Institutional Review Board, followed by extensive involvement in national and international Phase I-III clinical trials involving novel treatments for lung, breast, ovarian and other malignancies. Recently, Dr. Hausheer served as the Global CMO of Wuxi AppTec and Lepu Biopharma (IPO in 2022).
Dr. Hausheer has received a number of prestigious awards and recognition. His major awards include the prestigious American Cancer Society Fellowship Award (twice), the National Scientific Research Award, and the Smithsonian Award for Breakthrough Science in Medicine.
He received his MD and completed Internal Medicine residency from the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed his Fellowship in Medical Oncology in the Experimental Therapeutics and Pharmacology Division in the Medical Oncology Department at Johns Hopkins. He has held adjunct professorships at the University of Missouri in Internal Medicine and Oncology and The Johns Hopkins Oncology Center in Medical Oncology, he is US ABIM Board Certified: Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.

Julia had served as Sr. Marketing Director and Corporate Alliance Director for Tier-1 multinational pharmaceutical companies including AstraZeneca, Roche, and Biogen for many years. Julia has held critical leadership and management roles for more than seven new blockbuster products launched, including three products in the global Phase II-III trial stage, including TAGRISSO (EGFR-TKI), LYNPARZA (PARPi), IMFINZI (PD-L1), SEBIVO (HBV), FORXIGA (SGLT2), BYETTA (GLP-1), MIRCERA (ESA). Millions of patients’ lives were positively impacted earlier due to the success of the earlier access commercial development strategies.
Julia has broad connections with KOL and medical institutions in neuroscience, oncology, biomarker testing, metabolic disease (cardiovascular, diabetes, renal) areas, and HCV/HBV in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Asia other countries.
Julia holds her two Master's Degrees, one from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Fudan University (life science college), Global MBA, the University of Manchester (England)
